Alliance for Portuguese Language Education in the Greater Bay Area
The Alliance is an initiative joining together the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI), Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) and the School of Professional and Continuing Education of Hong Kong University (HKUSPACE). The three institutions aim to deepen cooperation in the field of exchanges of teachers and students, joint holding of seminars and academic competitions, and joint development of scientific research projects, all with a view to promoting the integration, innovation, sharing and development of Portuguese language teaching in the three regions.

Alliance for Training of Qualified Bilingual Tables in Chinese and Portuguese Languages
An Alliance was formed after the First Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of China and Portuguese-speaking countries in 2018. In 2019, the Directorate of Services for Higher Education of the Government of Macao created an Information Platform on Higher Education of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, which regularly publishes news relevant to Sino-Lusophone cooperation.
