MGM MACAU Visits MPI

To strengthen the communication and collaboration of Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) with the gaming industry, Mr. Francis Tan, Vice President of Learning and Talent Management, MGM MACAU and his delegation visited MPI on 27th November. The delegation was warmly received by Professor Lei Heong Iok, President of MPI, Professor Liu Ming, Director of the School of Health Sciences and Dr. Choi Kok Kun, Director of the School of Business.

During the meeting President Lei expressed his gratitude to MGM MACAU for their support in providing scholarships for MPI students for many years, encouraging them to study hard and demonstrate their skills, and offering our graduates employment, training and promotion opportunities. President Lei said MPI would continue to nurture professionals for the industry. Mr. Tan affirmed the work of MPI in higher education and commended the advanced teaching facilities at MPI. Both parties are looking forward to collaborating further in various areas in the future and to maintaining their efforts in nurturing local talent.

The delegation visited the teaching facilities and laboratory of MPI's nursing programme, the MPI-Bell Centre and Cyber Corridor, MPI's academic and research staff, with students presenting their research results. Along with Mr. Tan, the delegation included Mr. Benjamin Hong, Director of Talent Acquisition, Ms. Chloe Wong, Assistant Director of Learning & Talent Development, and Mr. Ernesto Dias, Staffing Manager.
