More than 60 participants from Bachelor's and Master's levels as well as the academic and research staff of MPI attended the event.

This sharing session presented three outstanding research studies conducted by a group of postgraduate students in Gaming Management. Three gaming-related topics were discussed in the areas of anti-money laundering controls, workplace health and safety management system, and electronic sport and its prospect/impact on the hospitality industry. Since 2019, the Master of Business Administration in Gaming Management has been offered at the Centre for Gaming and Tourism Studies of MPI. There are now more than 40 students enrolled in the first and second year of the MBA programme, and most of them are industry veterans. These MBA students have conducted various types of research under the guidance of their teachers at the Centre, and the three research findings presented at this sharing session exhibit excellent theoretical foundations and a deep understanding of the gaming industry. The Centre aims to promote mutual learning and exchange among students through student-led academic conferences. With a positive atmosphere for academic research, students are encouraged to engage in the gaming-related management theories and applications. The sharing session was well received with active discussion from the participants, and various types of academic activities will be organized at the Centre in due course.
