To welcome new students to the bachelor, master’s and doctoral courses of the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI), help them to adapt to the university study environment of MPI, initiate their colourful university life, as well as to let them feel MPI’s diversifying campus culture, the Student Affairs Office and the Student Union organised the new academic year orientation under the theme “Build Your Dreams”, with the hope that all MPI students will realise their dreams, create infinite possibilities in their youth, and start a brilliant journey on the international platform of MPI.

To start the new semester, MPI launched a new mobile-app sticker pack with the theme of “Welcoming MPI Freshmen” to infuse new students with vitality in the new academic year, so as to face challenges and opportunities energetically. The new emojis are lively and vivid, and help students to get to know MPI’s landmark buildings and active school life from different angles. The sticker pack is now available on MPI’s website and its official WeChat account for all to download and use.

MPI has always been dedicated to making a platform for youths to better integrate into the overall development of the country, and for this reason, the Student Affairs Office of MPI has been organising a series of rich activities to develop students’ potential, including the service learning scheme, general education scheme, youth leader training camp, Macao culture experience activities, career planning activities, study tour to Nansha District in the Greater Bay Area, corporate visits, etc., so as to create conditions to promote the professional development of outstanding youths, grasp the national development opportunity of the country’s “14th Five-Year Plan” and the construction of the Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin, as well as providing Macao and the Greater Bay Area with even more outstanding professionals.
