MPU Bachelor of Arts in Music will hold the "Returning Home"--A Concert of Harry Ore's Piano Works Concert on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 8:00 pm in the MPU Auditorium. This concert promises to be a meaningful and nostalgic evening of beautiful music.

Harry Ore (1885-1972), a Latvian Jewish pianist and composer, came to Hong Kong in 1921 and subsequently settled in the Hong Kong-Macao region, where he dedicated himself to performing, teaching, and composing. He is renowned as the pioneer of the "Cantonese-style piano compositions."

The concert will feature performances by Professor Xian Jingsong, Associate Professor Jin Lai, and Lecturer Zhang Yiming from the Piano Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, as well as pianist Mr. Choi Sown Le. Admission to the concert is free. All welcome to enjoy the concert.
