The "Creative 3D Models Design Competition 2023" aimed to enhance the 3D design skills of Macao's youth. In the university category, the theme was "Creative Jewelry: Scarf Clip," which tested students' conceptual abilities, software skills and proficiency, artistic sensibility, and creativity. Kwan Hoi Io, a student from the Bachelor of Arts in Design, won the gold Prize with a silver jewelry design in the shape of a cat. Kwan explained that her creation exuded a sense of human care, aiming to capture the connection between humans. She utilised flowing curves and details to depict the image of a cat, while using diamonds to embellish the cat's claws, adding a touch of elegance and luxury to the piece.

Chan Pui I, a student from the Bachelor of Arts in Design, won the silver Prize with her scarf clip design featuring a cactus theme. The overall design consisted of symmetrical patterns of cacti and flowers, with a green gemstone in the center to highlight the cactus's unique vibrancy. Inspired by the unique form of the cactus, this design aimed to encourage young people to learn perseverance in their life journey, discover their unique qualities and showcase their charm.

Lin Yue, a student from the Bachelor of Accounting, won the bronze Prize for her design inspired by the petals of Macao's Lotus Square. Her creative jewelry piece combined elements of both Chinese and Portuguese cultures, carving traditional patterns from both countries onto the three-loop clip design. Through the fusion of these patterns, the design showcased the unique cultural heritage and the charm of the Sino-Portuguese Co-operation Platform of Macao.

Chan Cheuk Sing Justin, a student from the Bachelor of Arts in Design program, received the Merit Award for his creation inspired by snakes. Inspired by the snake's flexible and flowing body, the scarf clip featured emerald gemstone eyes, symbolising the vitality of culture and the natural cycle of birth and renewal, and allowing the wearer to exude a sense of mystery and elegance.
