The course “Cultural Tourism Marketing Practice” of MPU Centre for Continuing Education now opens for application

To support developing Macao as Centre for World Tourism and Leisure, the Centre for Continuing Education of Macao Polytechnic University offers the course “Cultural Tourism Marketing Practice”.  The course will start on 23th February and now opens for application, and welcomes practitioners related to cultural tourism or brand promotion as well as those interested to apply.   Application is on first-come-first-served basis.

The course “Cultural Tourism Marketing Practice” allows students to understand tourists’ consumption behaviour through marketing analysis. Through case studies on promotion of Macao's existing cultural tourism brands, it will help to improve students’ practical skills in publicity and promotion for consumer tourists, as well as various marketing techniques to create brand value for cultural tourism. Its aim is to enable local cultural tourism brands to achieve sustainable development. The course content includes the functions of cultural tourism brands and basic concepts of marketing, consumer behaviour patterns, case analysis for cultural tourism brand and marketing techniques, etc.
