This program welcomed 30 exceptional students from the Affiliated High School of Peking University Chaoyang Campus for a 5-day summer camp at MPU. Through knowledge-sharing sessions and site visits, the students from Beijing gained insights into Macao’s rich historical blend of Chinese and Western cultures and its current development as a moderately diversified economy.
Hau Veng San, the Acting Director of the CEC, extended a warm welcome to the teachers and students from the Affiliated High School of Peking University Chaoyang Campus. She emphasized the significance of the event coinciding with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao SAR, underscoring the opportunity for strengthened communication and collaboration between educational institutions in Beijing and Macao. Hau hoped that the students from Beijing would gain insights into Macao’s successful implementation of the “One Country, Two Systems” framework and immerse themselves in Macao’s university life to better plan their future career paths.
