MPU Students Gain Fruitful Learning Experience at Cambridge University, UK
To enhance international higher education cooperation, promote holistic development, enrich academic experiences, and inspire leadership potential among students, the Student Affairs Office of MPU organised the “2024 Summer Interdisciplinary and Leadership Study Camp at the University of Cambridge.” During the two-week study visit at the University of Cambridge, MPU students enhanced their knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and leadership. They also gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the UK’s history and culture, making it a profoundly enriching experience.
The study camp was held at Clare College, University of Cambridge, and included courses on British culture, life sciences, engineering technology and leadership training, which helped students develop problem-solving and teamwork skills. Students also explored Cambridge’s cultural heritage and museums and visited other renowned institutions like the University of Oxford and King’s College London to experience British history, culture, and academic atmosphere. Participants said that the camp’s integration of academic theory, technological innovation, and the importance of sustainable materials in urban planning enriched their practical experience in tech innovation, deepened their understanding of British historical architecture, and allowed them to learn about local arts and culture.
