MPU CEC Now Accepting Enrolment for the Courses in 2nd Quarter of 2025
In response to meet the talent needs of Macao’s economic diversification development, the Centre for Continuing Education (CEC) of Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) is launching over 40 professional practical training courses in the second quarter of 2025, which cover areas of public administration, social work, business application and corporate management, language communication, technology and engineering, tourism and convention, nursing, youth training, and arts and design. CEC is committed to nurturing professional and comprehensive talents. The courses are now open for enrolment with limited spots available.
A batch of new courses is launched in this quarter, including SPSS Statistical Analysis for Medical Research, Recruitment Management and Interview Practices, Professional Appearance and Etiquette Communication in the Workplace, and Creative Thinking and Innovation, among others. The contents of the courses are practical and include case studies, enabling participants to acquire professional knowledge in the relevant fields and enhancing their professional competence. In addition, CEC will offer a series of public administration courses, featuring topics such as Public Procurement, Labour Relations Law, Code of Administrative Procedure, Chinese Official Writing Skills, and Legal Regime of the Civil Service. Interested parties are welcome to enrol. The training courses for this quarter are part of the Continuing Education and Development Programme of the Education and Youth Development Bureau. Moreover, a number of courses have also been recognised by the Macau Health Professions Council as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training activities, and by the Professional Council of Social Workers of Macau SAR Government as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities for social workers.
Applications can be made online or in person at CEC. Students who meet the course attendance requirements and pass the assessment, will be awarded a certificate.
