Exciting News | MPU FCG Students Selected in Top Ten of “Cyberport Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurship Programme”
Student teams from the Faculty of Business (FCG) at Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) have achieved remarkable success in the 2024/25 “Cyberport Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurship Programme” with their innovative technology projects. The project “Xinglin Yuan – Traditional Chinese Medicine Enlightenment Game (Cantonese Herbal Tea)” by Ieong Chi Hang, a student of the Bachelor of E-Commerce Programme, and his team, as well as the “AI Photography” project by graduate Dai Xin and her team, were both selected among the top ten award-winning teams.
Organised by Hong Kong Cyberport, the “Cyberport Greater Bay Area Young Entrepreneurship Programme” aims to identify and nurture promising young entrepreneurial talent within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, supporting them in transforming innovative ideas into reality. This year’s programme attracted nearly 400 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from around 48 universities across the region, all competing for ten award spots. Winning teams will receive professional mentorship, seed funding, and access to industry resources to help bring their entrepreneurial visions to life.
The FCG at MPU is committed to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship education. Through curriculum development, project-based learning, and collaborations between academia, industry, and research, the Faculty cultivates students to become entrepreneurial talents equipped with innovative thinking and practical abilities. The University continues to inspire more students to engage in innovation and entrepreneurial practice, expanding the potential of Macao’s youth across the Greater Bay Area and onto the global stage.
