MPU National Flag Team Visits National Security Education Exhibition

In upholding the holistic approach to national security and deepening university students’ awareness of safeguarding national security, the Student Affairs Office of Macao Polytechnic University (MPU), together with members of the university’s National Flag Team, visited the National Security Education Exhibition. The exhibition was jointly organised by the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR.

Under the theme “A Decade of Advancing National Security Education for All: From Theory to Practice,” the exhibition featured a prologue and six thematic sections. Through photographs, videos and interactive multimedia displays, it showcased the nation’s security achievements across political, economic, social and cyber domains, along with Macao SAR’s practical contributions to national security. During the visit, MPU National Flag Team members received detailed briefings to enhance their understanding of the holistic approach to national security.

The MPU Student Affairs Office emphasised that the National Flag Team serves as a standard-bearer for patriotic values on campus and plays an exemplary role in national security education. The visit strengthened participants’ sense of duty and commitment to protecting national security. National Flag Team members affirmed that as young people in the new era, they should actively shoulder responsibility for safeguarding national security by translating knowledge into concrete actions.
