After the flag-handover ceremony, volunteers from MPU took a solemn oath to serve the National Games. They pledged to be professional, dedicated and united in their roles, supporting the event’s operations while showcasing Macao’s hospitality. With a strong sense of responsibility, they are committed to contributing to the success of the Macao Competition Zone and enhancing this high-quality sporting event.

Acting Rector Vivian Lei Ngan Lin was invited to attend the event, cheering on the faculty and student volunteers from MPU. To fully support the successful implementation for the 15th National Games, MPU has organised hundreds of faculty and students to join the volunteer service team, serving in a wide range of areas such as competition operations, team support, guest reception and venue assistance, showcasing the strong commitment and service ethos of the university’s youth. Through participation in this large-scale national sports event, students enhance their organisational coordination and cross-cultural communication skills, while also fostering a sense of civic awareness and social responsibility, advancing the principle of “promoting communication through sports and showcasing excellence through service”. As the preparations for the 15th National Games enter the final stage, MPU volunteers will continue to strive forward, welcoming athletes from across the nation and collectively writing a brilliant chapter for the Macao Competition Zone.
