To promote the development of cognitive translation studies in China and facilitate academic discussion and exchange between scholars, five annual conferences on Cognitive Translation Studies have been held, at Guizhou Normal University (2017), Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (2018), Renmin University of China (2019), Tongji University (2021) and Jilin University (2022) respectively. “The 6th National Conference on Cognitive Translation Studies and 2023 Annual Symposium of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese-Society of Cognitive Translation Studies” will be held at Macao Polytechnic University on 3-5 November 2023. The conference will feature keynote speeches and parallel sessions for the presentation and discussion of up-to-date cognitive translation studies.

Best Paper Awards will be presented at this conference to authors whose works represent innovative and rigorous research in Cognitive Translation Studies. Participants who wish to compete for the Awards are asked to submit the Information Form and their unpublished Chinese or English papers (including a title in Chinese and English, an abstract, key words and the full text) by 15 September 2023, to, with “優秀論文評選” as the email title. The CACSEC Society of Cognitive Translation Studies (CACSEC-SCTS) is an academic organization of researchers and teachers dedicated to the research and application of cognitive translation studies. Under the supervision and direction of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese (CACSEC), the society aims to promote theoretical and applied research on cognitive translation studies, and to offer the researchers a channel of presenting their latest research, introducing frontiers of cognitive translation studies, and exchanging their views. The CACSEC-SCTS charges no membership fees. Any researcher who has an interest in cognitive translation studies and agrees to comply with its regulations may apply to be member of the society.
