Abstract The university is not a magic box where a group of qualified graduates can spontaneously come out after a 4-year study. “How can we recognize a person qualified with higher education?” “What are the expectations of the SLOs?” “Are these expectations eventually able to be reached”… Based on the experience of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) Quality Platform Provider (Platform) Review of DeTao Advanced Class in China, this paper develops “Quality Label on Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)” of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN), trying to explore the new paradigm of teaching and learning of quality assurance It aims to promote the quality assurance of external and internal education as well as different relative stakeholders to the quality label platform. Through the analysis of the learning process and the results of the students during university, the "added-value" of students' progress and development in their study is well described. The quality of education experience brings new impetus to the improvement of teaching quality as well as the reform of teaching and learning. By the good opportunity of “Higher Education International Conference on Innovation and Developments in Teaching & Learning Quality Assurance” co-organized by Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) and APQN, it is expected that “Quality Label on Student Learning Outcomes” by external QA can be implemented in universities in the Asia-Pacific Region, especially in MPI. 大學不是一個神奇的魔盒,4年學習後也不可能自然而然地走出一群合格的畢業生。怎樣才可被認為是受過高等教育的人?人才培養方案對大學生的學習成果有什麼預期?這些預期是否最終能夠達到? 基於美國高等教育認證委員會(CHEA)國際質量組(CIQG)對中國德稻教育大師班開展質量平台評審的理論及實踐經驗,本文構建亞太地區教育質量保障組織的學生學習成果質量標籤,試圖建立教與學質量保障的新範式,旨在推動外部與內部教育質量保障以及相關利益者走到質量標籤平台上,通過對學生在大學就讀期間的學習過程、學習結果的分析,描述學生在學習上進步或發展的“增量”,為學生提供更優質的教育體驗,為教學質量提升以及教與學的改革引入新的動力。 借助澳門理工大與亞太地區教育質量保障組織共同舉辦的第十屆高等教育國際學術研討會“教與學質量保障創新與發展”的契機,希望能夠在亞太地區高校、特別是澳門理工大實施“學生學習成果質量標籤”的外部評審。 |
Author Profile(s) She gained PhD degree at Peking University in China, Master degree in EPFL in Switzerland, a visiting scholar in UNESCO. She has been teaching for 37 years, visited over 50 countries on academic assignments and activities of education quality assurance. She chaired over 50 research projects both at home and abroad. She organized over 20 on-site evaluations to HEIs, reviewed Fiji Higher Education Commission, the Certification Association “Russian Register”, Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health(IAAHEH) in the on-site review of Asia-Pacific Quality Register (APQR) and CHEA/CIQG Quality Platform Review, conducted 3 workshops on evaluators in Pakistan, etc. She has published 24 books and over 200 papers. 張建新,亞太地區教育質量保障組織(APQN)主席,雲南省高等教育評估中心外事首席專家,雲南大學高等教育研究院教授,美國高等教育認證委員會(CHEA)國際質量組織(CIQG)諮詢委員。 她在北京大學獲得教育學博士學位,瑞士洛桑聯邦高等理工學院(EPFL)獲教育學碩士學位,在聯合國教科文組織做過訪問學者。 她任教37年,到過50多個國家和地區進行學術交流以及教育質量保障工作,主持並參與國內外50多個研究項目。她先後組織了20多所高校現場評估,現場評審斐濟高等教育委員會、俄羅斯註冊證書協會、印度尼西亞高等教育衛生認證機構以及美國CIQG質量平台,為巴基斯坦高等教育委員會多次舉辦評估員工作坊等。她出版了24本專(譯、編)著以及200多篇論文。 |
