Teachers of some modules in our Programme organize students to visit government agencies, such as Legislative Council, CCAC, Customs, IAM, etc., to understand the actual operation of government agencies in Macao. |
| Merits |
Although the students have learned the basic structures and functions of various government agencies in the classroom, and have seen news from some agencies on TV news, when they entered the government agencies in person, they found that the government work they have witnessed is different from what they have learned in the classroom and on TV. They personally felt the busyness and complexity of government work. After visiting the government agencies and the explanations given by the staff, they would have a deeper understanding of the daily operations of the government agencies, as well as certain work procedures and steps, and have a deeper understanding of the office conditions, advanced equipment and efficient teams of the government agencies. All this will help students to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of government work and to better apply what they have learned in classroom in the future. |
