Macao Polytechnic University Personal Data Processing Policy
At Macao Polytechnic Univesity (hereafter referred to as “the Univesity”) personal data will be processed solely under the conditions stated in Article 6 of Law No. 8/2005 (Personal Data Protection Law). In line with this law, the Univesity observes data protection principles when processing personal data, making every effort to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the personal data held by the Univesity.
The personal data collected by the Univesity are used solely to provide education as well as academic and administrative services at the request of the data owners. It is for this same purpose that they may be transferred within the Univesity. In addition, these data may be transferred to entities that are in accordance with legal provision or with prior consent of the data owners.
Unless otherwise stated, or required by law, or with the prior consent of the data owners, the personal data collected by the Univesity will not be disclosed to any third party outside the University. The data owners may submit a signed request to access or make changes to their personal data held by the Univesity.
Macao Polytechnic Univesity Personal Data Collection Statement
Macao Polytechnic Univesity (hereafter referred to as “the Univesity”) provides relevant academic and administrative services at the request of applicants, which requires the applicants to submit applications to relevant units or departments.
The personal data collected by the Univesity will be used solely for the stated purposes. They may be transferred within the Univesity or to entities that are in accordance with legal provision or with your prior consent. It is necessary to note that internet transmission bears risk and may not guarantee absolute confidentiality.
To enable the provision of the requested services, it is mandatory for the applications to contain personal-identification and education-related information. Applications absent of the stated information will not be processed.
