David Sansom 是一位經驗豐富的教師、師資培訓員和管理者。具英語語言教師文憑、寫作碩士學位以及師範教育博士學位。從事英語教學工作30多年,曾在英國、法國、沙特阿拉伯和中國內地工作,於2009年加入理大-貝爾英語中心。他也是2022年澳門四校聯考(英文)委員會和全澳英語演講比賽組委會的成員。

David 擁有豐富的教學經驗,接觸過不同學生、涵蓋廣泛的課程和學習目標,包括高等教育機構的學術英語、為企業和商業客戶提供的商務英語、一對一的教學和輔導、校本教學和培訓、考試預備班、成人英語課程。也為本科生和研究生開發學術寫作資源,並提供輔導和工作坊。

他在職業生涯中培訓了不少教師。曾在法國巴黎的一所商務英語中心與跨國教師團隊合作,以及在中國內地的教育學院、澳門和大灣區的學校及大專院校工作。亦曾任英語教學能力證書課程的觀察評估員,並擔任貝爾劍橋的地區性英語語言教師文憑導師。

他在教師專業發展方面的研究興趣包括:經驗豐富的教師如何變化以及制度和背景因素對該變化的影響,專業發展期間和之後的重塑過程,以及改進英語寫作的教與學。自 2020 年初以來,他一直在研究並發表關於專業教師於疫情限制下在線教學的經驗。他曾就發展和維持高等教育機構教學質量發表了有關文章,並於 2019 年 3 月在香港參與了香港學術及職業資歷評審局的質量保證專業培訓工作坊。
