                            revolutions  in  Europe,  modernization,  rationalization,  globalization,  social  structure,
                            institutions, social interactions, social problems in contemporary societies.

                            To  provide  students  with  the  clinical  aspects  of  nutrition  evaluation,  and  nutrition  in

                            during life cycle; Diseases and nutrition; Medical nutrition therapy.

                            To provide students with the basics of food safety and public health nutrition. Contents:

                            of food safety; Food safety system in Macao; Case study in food safety issues.

                            Medicine
                            To provide students with the basics of public health and preventive medicine. Contents:
                            History  of  public  health  and  preventive  medicine;  Basic  functions  of  public  health;
                            Population,  community  and  health;  Determining  factors  of  health;  Evaluation  of
                            community health status; Preventive medicine (Healthy people; Risk-carrying individuals;
                            Patients); Disease prevention in  community settings (Environment; Living  style; Health
                            services); Health policy; Health plan; Emergency health planning; Public health in Macao.

                            To  provide  students  with  the  basics  of  psychology.  Contents:  Introduction;  Personal
                            growth;  Wisdom;  Character;  Learning;  Memory;  Emotion  Motivation;  Abnormal
                            behaviour;  Classification  of  psychiatric  illnesses;  Basic  nursing  care  of  psychiatric
