國際認可
教與學質量是澳門理工大學立校之本，質量保證已成為大學教育文化的重要部分。大學參照英國高等院校的辦學指標建設質量保證體系，從課程發展與管理、課程監督、學生考評、意見收集與跟進、人員發展等方面對各項教與學事務進行規範，保證各教與學環節符合國際標準，使學生得到充實的學習體驗。
2013/2014學年，大學成為亞洲首間通過國際權威評鑑機構英國高等教育質量保證局院校評鑑的高等院校，該局對大學給予信心評級。2015、2017及2022年，大學更先後三次榮獲APQN亞太地區教育質量獎，以及亦於2018及2022年連續兩屆榮獲國家教育部頒發“國家級教學成果獎”。澳門理工大學在2024年英國泰晤士高等教育世界大學影響力總榜全球排名第301至400名區間，是澳門地區排名最高的高校，同時於“就業與經濟增長”排名全球第72位、於“可持續城市及社區”全球排名101至200。
自2011年起，大學先後通過英國工程技術學會、澳洲註冊會計師公會、英國特許公認會計師公會、美國電子商務協會、葡萄牙高等教育評估和認可局、新西蘭大學學術質量評鑑局、國家教育部高等教育教學評估中心、台灣高等教育評鑑中心、香港學術及職業資歷評審局等多個國際學術評審及專業認證機構的課程評鑑或專業認證，大學的教學質量得到國家和國際權威組織的認可。
International Recognition
The quality of teaching and learning is fundamental to our university, and quality assurance has become an essential part of our educational culture. MPU has in place a quality assurance system benchmarked against the quality and standards of British higher education. It regulates various matters concerning teaching and learning in respect of programme development and management, programme monitoring, student assessment, feedback mechanisms, personnel development, etc., with the aims of maintaining international standards throughout the teaching and learning processes and ensuring that students can enjoy a quality learning experience.
In 2013/2014 we achieved an overall judgement of “confidence” in an Institutional Review conducted by the internationally prominent Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), UK. This is the first internationally recognised institutional review ever undertaken by a higher education institution in Asia. In 2015, 2017 and 2022, the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) presented us with the APQN Quality Awards three times. We also won the "National Teaching Achievement Award" of the Ministry of Education of China in 2018 and 2022. In the Times Higher Education World University Impact Rankings 2024, the University is ranked between 301st and 400th globally, which marks MPU as the top-ranked university in Macao. The university is ranked 72nd in the scope of “Decent Work and Economic Growth” and 101st – 200th in the scope of Sustainable Cities and Communities.
Since 2011, MPU has successively passed the academic programme review and professional accreditation by many international academic reviewing and professional accrediting agencies including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK, CPA Australia Ltd (CPA Australia), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, the Institute of Certified E-Commerce Consultants (ICECC), the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES), the Academic Quality Agency for New Zealand Universities (AQA), the Higher Education Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education (HEEC), the Higher Education Evaluation & Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT), and the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic & Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). The teaching quality of MPU is recognised by national and international authoritative organisations.
