近年，電訊網絡詐騙手法持續增多，同學收到來歷不明的來電或訊息時，務必提高防騙警覺並機警應對，以免誤墮騙網。
In recent years, online telecommunications frauds have been increasing. Students are strongly advised to stay vigilant and tackle wisely when receiving calls or messages from unknown sources to avoid falling prey to scams.
Prospectus
The MPU prospectus provides students with such information as the academic calendar, MPU’s profile, logo, motto, mission and vision, MPU’s organisation and different study programmes.
學生專用網站
學生可透過本校網頁獲得本校的資料、設施及教務方面的最新信息。
所有全日制學生在入學登記後，均獲配學生個人專用電子郵件地址。學生可透過電郵與教師、各學術及行政單位溝通。學生應養成經常檢查及清理電子郵箱的習慣，確保郵箱不會累積過量的電子郵件，以致重要資訊未能成功傳遞至電子郵箱內。
Student Web
Students can access the MPU website for the most updated information about studying, facilities, pedagogical affairs, etc.
Every registered full-time programme student of MPU is assigned a personal email account after completing the enrollment procedures. Students can communicate with teachers, academic units and administrative units with the MPU email service. Students are reminded to check and clear their email inbox frequently, to ensure that they will not miss any important information sent to them.
信息發放
本校將重要資訊、活動信息及颱風停課消息等，透過本校網頁、網上學生通告、公告欄、學生電郵及學生手機提示短訊等，發放予在讀學生。學生應經常查閱本校信息以獲得最新資訊。
校曆表、課堂資訊、就業機會、學生通告、學生常用表格下載及學生活動等資料均通過本校網頁發放。
Dissemination of Information
Important information, such as that of student activities and class cancellation due to typhoons, is sent to current students mainly via the MPU website, Online Student Notices, notice boards, emails and SMS. Students should regularly check for such information so as to ensure that they stay informed.
Students will find the following information available on the MPU website: the academic calendar, lecture information, job opportunities, student notices, forms and student activities.
學生檔案記錄及查閱辦法
學生檔案主要記載學生入學登記時的資料，包括入學登記表、個人身份資料及學歷等。已辦理入學登記學生的檔案資料將作永久保存。學生檔案記錄可供學生本人、本校獲授權人員（例如院長、課程主任、相關教職人員等）查閱或複印。如欲查閱檔案記錄時，可向招生註冊處提出申請，申請時須註明目的及用途。學生所提供的資料將用作處理入學相關的事項、提供學生服務、作為學生檔案以及按政府/法律規定或學生授權提供予相關權限機關。
Student Records and How to Gain Access to Them
A student record will be created when a student first registers with MPU. The student record includes the student’s registration form, identity information, and educational background, etc. Registered student records are for permanent filing. Student records can be read or copied by authorised MPU personnel (such as the Faculty Deans, programme coordinators, and relevant academic staff). Students may inspect their records in the Registry. They should state the purpose and usage of the records when applying for inspection. The students’ information submitted on registration will be used for handling their admission to MPU and retained in the student records, and provide student services. The student records will be provided to relevant authorities in accordance with government/ legal regulations or the student’s authorisation.
更新個人資料
學生可在學生資訊網SIWeb更新聯繫資料，如學生需要更新個人身份資料，需向招生註冊處遞交填妥之“更改個人資料申請表”及相關證明文件副本，並出示正本核對。
例子：
NetID = 學生證號（p0123456）
Password = 身份證號（首次預設）
Amendment of Personal Information
Students can update their contact information by themselves on the SIWeb. For personal information update, students may submit application forms with a copy of the relevant identification documents to the Registry.
Example:
NetID = student card number (p0123456)
Password = ID card number (by default)
Lost & Found
If you have lost any items in the campus, please come to the Campus Maintenance and Development Office on the Ground Floor at the Administration Building, or contact its 24-Hour hotline for support at (853) 8599 6189 for further enquiries.
校園設備/設施維修
如學生發現校園設備/設施損壞，請透過下列方式反映情況或提出維修申請：
- 本校內聯網：登入“綜合服務管理系統”填寫設施之損壞情況；
- 教學設備及校園設施：向校園維護及發展處/資訊科技部/工程及採購處，或校方教職員反映；
- 宿舍：通過舍監轉達；
- 保安室24小時支援熱線：(853) 8599 6189。
Campus Equipment/ Facilities Repairing Works
If students find any damage to the equipment/facilities on campus, they can request for repairing services in the following ways:
- Log in the MPU’s Intranet “Service Request Management System”;
- About the Campus: contact Campus Maintenance and Development Office/Information Technology Department/Construction and Procurement Office, or report to the relevant faculty and staff;
- About hostels: Contact the wardens;
- Call the 24-Hour hotline for support (security): (853) 8599 6189.
