郵政服務

郵政總局位於新馬路議事亭前地，分局遍佈澳門、氹仔及路環各處，提供投寄函件、包裹及特快專遞服務至世界各地（詳情）。
學生若需寄送郵件到學生宿舍，務必請寄件者準確填寫收件人全名、宿舍地址及所住房間號碼。

Postal Services

The General Post Office is located in Senado Square, while postal branches can be found throughout the Macao Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane. Services include letter post, parcel and express mail service (EMS) to almost anywhere in the world. For more information (details).
To send mail to the student hostel at MPU, it is necessary for the sender to include the addressee's full name, hostel building, and room number.

氣候

澳門全年氣候溫和，平均氣溫約23ºC（73ºF），溫差變化在20ºC（68ºF）和26ºC（79ºF）之間；濕度較高，年均達79%；每年的五月至九月是澳門的雨季；十月至十一月是澳門的秋季，氣候溫和，濕度低，是理想的旅遊季節。十二月至三月為冬季，氣温雖較寒冷，但陽光普照；踏入四月，溫度逐漸上升；五月至九月，天氣炎熱，有時有颱風。當八號風球或以上訊號懸掛時，來往澳門的船隻和飛機航班，亦會暫時取消。澳門的颱風季節為每年五月至十一月，其中七月至九月是颱風吹襲最多的月份。夏季只需穿棉質輕便衣服或T恤；冬季天氣較冷，應備羊毛衣物及外套；春秋兩季晚間稍凉，宜穿毛線衫或夾克。查閱更多資料，請瀏覽地球物理氣象局網頁。

Climate

Macao’s climate is temperate throughout the year. The average temperature is about 23°C (73°F), ranging from 20°C (68°F) to 26°C (79°F). It is rather humid, with the average relative humidity reaching 79%. The rainy season lasts from May to September. October and November are the ideal months to visit Macao, with mild temperatures and dry weather. It is often sunny in the winter months from December to March although it can be a little bit cold. Temperatures begin to climb in April and the heat becomes more intense from May to September. There can be typhoons and when Typhoon Signal no. 8 or above is hoisted, ferries and flights will stop running temporarily. The typhoon season in Macao is from May to November, with July, August and September being the most seriously affected months. In summer, visitors are advised to wear light cotton clothes for a pleasant journey in Macao; while woolens are recommended along with a thick jacket or an overcoat to keep warm during winter. It is great to bring along cardigans or sweaters in spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November) as nights are cooler during the two seasons. 語言

中文和葡文是現行官方語言。居民日常溝通普遍使用廣州話，但許多居民也能聽懂普通話（國語）。英語在澳門也很通行，可在很多場合應用。

Languages

Chinese and Portuguese are the official languages. While Cantonese is most widely spoken, many citizens can understand Putonghua. The official languages are used in government departments in all official documents and communications. English is generally used in trade, tourism and commerce.

澳門飲食習慣

Dining Habits

Chinese cuisine and Portuguese dishes are the most common in Macao. There is also a great variety of international food including Japanese cuisine, Korean barbecue, specialities from the US, France, Italy, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, etc.

本地交通

澳門有大型和小型公共巴士在澳門半島、氹仔和路環往來行駛，班次頻密；各車站均有以中葡文說明的路線牌，介紹各公共巴士的行走路線。

車費每位澳門元6元，車上不設零錢找換，乘客應自備硬幣乘車或電子支付。所有公共巴士均有空調設施。各巴士路線分別往返澳門半島、氹仔和路環及機場，也有很多公共巴士穿梭澳門市區的大街小巷。（巴士路線詳情）

Local Transportations

A frequent bus service runs between the Macao Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane. Route information in Chinese and Portuguese is posted at every bus stop detailing destinations, itineraries and stops.

The bus fare is MOP6 and passengers should prepare adequate coins for the fare as no change is given on the buses, or one can pay via e-payments. Routes go to and from different spots in the Macao Peninsula, Taipa and Coloane including Macau International Airport. Some buses even traverse narrow streets and alleys in Macao. (Details)

禁煙規定

為維護清新健康的無煙校園環境，同時響應澳門特別行政區政府的控煙政策，除指定吸煙區外，校園範圍內一切設施，包括教室、洗手間、樓梯、餐廳、圖書館、體育館、宿舍、室外露天空間如花圃、室外運動場等，一律禁止吸煙，請學生自覺遵守。

Regulations against Smoking

In order to maintain a smoke-free campus and comply with the Macao SAR Government’s smoking policy, smoking is prohibited on school premises, including classrooms, toilets, staircases, dining-halls, libraries, the Multi-Sport Pavilion, hostels, flowerbeds, playground, and all other public areas, except in the specifically designated smoking areas.
