Dr. Joaquim Paulo Conceição holds a PhD in Marketing and International Trade from the University of Extremadura, Spain. He has a postgraduate degree in European Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and attended an Advanced Management Program for Executives at the Portuguese Catholic University. He has a bachelor degree in Economy from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra.
He has been teaching at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria since 1990, in the category of Invited Coordinating Professor. He teaches in the areas of business strategy and marketing, in the Bachelor's Degree courses in Management and Marketing, and in the Master's Degree courses in Automotive Engineering, Relational Marketing and Management. He has supervised several Master's dissertations and PhD theses, as well as several internships.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Leiria Business School since 2023 and is the scientific coordinator of the executive training in Leadership and People Management.
He has been Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Grupo NOV since 2010. The Grupo NOV brings together various companies in the areas of engineering and construction, environment and energy, industry, automobiles, real estate, communication and tourism, among others.
He is the founder and administrator of ENOV - Business School, which provides professional training in both face-to-face and e-learning formats. ENOV has developed various training courses for executives and other employees of the Grupo NOV, some of which in partnership with the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, ISCTE - Lisbon and the University of Coimbra.
He has organized various seminars, forums and conferences, including: “Leading to Compete”, “How to grow in times of crisis?”, “Human Resources for the XXI Century”. At the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, he is responsible for organizing the annual Management conferences as well as the annual seminars of the Master's Degree in Relationship Marketing. He participates as a speaker at various conferences, forums and other events.
