New Staff Development Programme Series of Workshops
The Teaching and Learning Centre organised a series of staff development workshops from September to November, aimed at supporting teachers in deepening their understanding of outcome-based education and enhancing the quality of teaching.
Led by Dr Song Yue, Acting Deputy Director of the Teaching and Learning Centre, the sessions covered fundamental principles of outcome-based education, along with the design of course learning outcomes, teaching activities and student assessment methods. The workshops also explored the relationship between outcome-based education and teaching quality assurance.
Participants responded with enthusiasm, noting that the workshops strengthened their understanding of outcome-based teaching methods and that they would be able to apply the knowledge gained in their future teaching practice.
