The major purpose of this study is to better understand the cultural adaptation experience of Chinese students in Portuguese higher education institutions and provide us with information that enables a smooth and successful exchange. As specific objectives, we intend to perceive the experience of the cultural adaptation of the Chinese students in Portugal in three dimensions: social, emotional and academic.
