MSBA6125 Management Information System 3 45 hrs ---

This module introduces the information system from the perspective of management and
decision-making. It enables students to master the theory and methods of data strategy.
Students will learn how to implement the planning and application of information
systems for enterprises. At the same time, students are trained to use various information
systems to assist enterprises in decision-making, as well as to use information technology
to enhance their competitiveness.
MSBA6126 Integrated Resort Operations 3 45 hrs ---
Management
This module is designed to introduce the planning, organization, implementation, control
aspects and related management functions and requirements of the operation of
integrated resorts. It enables students to conduct in-depth discussions and research on
planning, arranging, organizing and other management issues involved in the daily
operations of related enterprises. The module will also examine the industrial importance
and relationship of the roles of key personnel in exhibitions, event and entertainment
activities. It will also discuss the integration of relevant management cases and
operational systems to propose more effective design, operation, evaluation and
improvement of opinions and suggestions.
MSBA6127 Gaming Law and Regulation 3 45 hrs ---
This module is designed to help students thoroughly understand the legal and regulatory
environment of the gaming industry. It develops and improves students’ ability to perform
management tasks in a legal and regulatory environment. The module focuses on
Macau's current gaming laws and regulations and it also compares Macau with other
jurisdictions, especially the US and Singapore gaming laws and regulatory systems. It also
discusses potential issues in the field of gaming law and regulation.
MSBA6299 Project Report 6 --- ---
This module aims to develop students' ability to integrate the entire curriculum and
explore the research potentials. This module consists of two parts: thesis writing and the
oral defence. Under the guidance of the supervisor, the students will select research
topics relating to related to general business management or recreation management and
use appropriate research methods for data collection and analysis to complete their
thesis writing. The credits are gained after passing the thesis review and oral defence.

MSBA6101 Leadership and Business Ethics 3 45 hrs ---
The purpose of this course is to explore the major elements and the basic frameworks of
leadership and ethics with emphasis on the linkages between the two. Considers several
cases where leaders faced significant ethical challenges. Students will be expected to
write and discuss thoughtful analyses of these cases using the frameworks discussed in
class.
