The ACCA Student Information Seminar was held on 11 September 2024 during 2:30 to 3:30pm at M603. ACCA Hong Kong Business Development Manager, Ms Kammi Choi, conducted the seminar to FCG Accounting Programme students. 

 

In the information session, Ms Kammi Choi first introduced the successful achievements of ACCA qualified members. Then she introduced the new AI working environment, ACCA approved employer directory, and ACCA virtual career fairs to students. These facilitate students to expose to the professional working fields through online platforms. She talked about the accelerate programme to our Accounting programme students.  This programme provides a fast track for Accounting students to sit ACCA examinations in their studies of the University. The enrolled students can start to take the final 4 (non-exempted) advanced papers of ACCA examination during university study time or within 1.5 years of graduation.  

 

For two years, ACCA has conducted the computer-based examinations in 4-diets of each year.  For preparation, candidates can use online support resources. Computer-based practice platform (CBE) is also provided to help candidates to attempt revision exercise questions and to get results online for the various examination papers. YouTube videos provide revision guidance. The chat room provides platform to form revision groups with worldwide candidates sitting for the same examination paper.
