Objectives

This programme aims to cultivate financial specialists with excellent data analysis skills for the growing modern financial industry in Macao, the Great Bay Area, and beyond. The programme focuses on enhancing students' abilities in corporate finance, investment analysis, risk management as well as the applications of data analytics in finance.

Career Prospects

Graduates will become financial specialists with social responsibility, leadership, and analytical mind, capable for finance positions in financial institutions and corporations.

Applicants are required to upload a copy of the following documents via the Online Application Portal:

  • Identification document
  • Recent photo
  • Certificate(s) and academic transcript(s)1 which should show the final weighted average score in 100 scale, otherwise please provide the conversion formula and the final weighted average score in 100 scale after conversion;
  • Two reference letters (provided by referees) ;
  • Curriculum vitae (in English or Chinese);
  • Evidence of English proficiency2 [e.g. CET-4, CET-6, IELTS, TOEFL, TEM, Mark of English in National Postgraduate Entrance Examination etc.); 
  • Chinese Mainland applicants who are not bachelor's degree graduates of the current year are required to submit current year's National Postgraduate Entrance Examination result reaching the required score line "一區分數線" together with the corresponding subject category (major).

 

Remarks:
  1. In addition to the degree certificate, an applicant holding a degree awarded by a higher education institution in the Chinese Mainland is also required to provide the graduation certificate; Applicants with a bachelor’s degree top-up from higher diploma level are required to provide both the higher diploma and the degree certificate as well as their relevant academic transcript; Applicants currently studying in the final year of a Bachelor's degree programme are required to submit their most updated academic transcript and testimonial. MPU prospective graduates are not required to do so.
  2. Applicants who received a Bachelor's degree with English as the teaching medium are not required to do so.
  3. All documents should be in Chinese, Portuguese or English; otherwise, an official certified translation should be provided.
