The Faculty of Business held “Equity Research Competition 2024” on Sep. 20, 2024 and 20 students from Master of Science in Finance with Data Analytics formed 4 teams to compete by doing an analysis report and making presentation on TENCENT, a public company listed in Hong Kong. The top two teams were recommended by the Faculty of Business to participate the CFA Local Final of Research Challenge 2024-25 (hosted by CFA Society Hong Kong), which is a global competition designed to promote best practices in research among the next generation of analysts through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis.
