On a recent walking tour through the vibrant streets of Macau, students had the unique opportunity to delve into the history and stories of the city's merchants. The journey took us through narrow alleys and historic buildings that have witnessed centuries of trade and commerce.  We visited several iconic landmarks where the stories of Chinese merchants and their contribution to the region’s prosperity were brought to life. This activity not only offered a glimpse into the historical significance of merchants but also allowed students to appreciate the deep-rooted cultural fusion that defines Macau today.
