Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem

Objectivos

Este curso tem como objectivo de formar profissionais de enfermagem competentes nas suas diversas dimensões. Permite aos alunos consolidar os seus conhecimentos teóricos e técnicas de investigação, e desenvolver as suas capacidades de aplicação dos resultados da investigação, estimulando o pensamento crítico e a capacidade de tomada de decisão, assim como as suas competências de liderança, gestão, ensino e prática de enfermagem clínica.

Condições de candidatura

Podem candidatar-se os indivíduos que possuam licenciatura em Enfermagem ou numa especialidade professional relacionada; Os indivíduos que escolhem pelo plano de estudos II ainda devem satisfazar os seguintes requisitos, nomeadamente:

  • Ser residentes de Macau;
  • Possuir cédula de acreditação ao enfermeiro emitada pelo órgão competente de Macau;
  • Ter pelo menos 3 anos de experiência profissional de enfermagem clínica nos hospitais, centros de saúde da comunidade e/ou instituições comunitários de prestação de cuidados de saúde de Macau.

Saídas Profissionais

Os graduados têm uma grande variedade de oportunidades de emprego, em hospitais, centros de saúde comunitários, serviços de assistência médica e instituições educacionais, estando habilitados a trabalhar em áreas como gestão de enfermagem, enfermagem clínica, ensino e investigação, supervisão clínica e outras funções relacionadas.

  2. Os estudantes devem realizar o estágio clínico com a duração de nove semanas (o total de 360 horas) conforme a especialidade de enfermagem escolhida.

This module aims to enable students to analyze relevant concepts and theories and to clarify roles and responsibilities of advanced practice nurses. The contents include related concepts and theories of advanced nursing practice; development and influential factors of advanced nursing practice in different countries and regions around the world; roles and responsibilities of advanced practice nurses; and clinical practice and related research in advanced nursing practice.

This module is a practical-oriented study of basic theories, essential skills and clinical thinking approach regarding the physiological, psychological and social adaptation of individuals in response to existing or potential health problems from a nursing perspective. The contents include advanced theory and skills of health assessment; clinical thinking and clinical decision-making ability through case analysis; laboratory results analysis; comprehensive analysis of clinical cases, etc.

Liderança e Gestão em Enfermagem

Based on the objective analysis of nursing work, this module aims to strengthen students’ ability to apply basic theories and methods of management to assess, plan, organize, implement and evaluate nursing practice, and effectively utilize human and material resources to promote and guarantee the quality of nursing care. This module explains and analyzes concept and practice of Nursing Leadership and Quality Management.

The contents include nursing management process; quality management system; patient safety and risk management; concept and procedure of goal management; and management of human and materials resources; leadership style, communication skills, interpersonal conflict management; organizational culture, management model; risk management; the concept of quality management; and methods of quality management and indicators for assessing care services.

Prática de Enfermagem Baseada em Evidências

The module focuses on evidence-based nursing theory and practice. The contents include the development of evidence-based health care; concepts, steps and significance of evidence-based nursing; data information retrieval, and quality appraisals of literature; the characteristics and grading of different kinds of evidence; systematic reviews; meta-analysis, meta-synthesis, clinical practice guidelines; and applications and evaluations of evidence, the best kinds of evidence that are used in intensive care, patient safety and nosocomial infection control.

Metodologia de Investigação e Normas Éticas

This module aims to emphasize the students to master and apply scientific research method, can develop the research projects, and discuss the practice issues including literature review and writing a research proposal. The contents include key principles of research methods; research processes and ethical principles; quantitative research; qualitative research; mixed research methods; and management of nursing research projects.

Didáctica de Enfermagem

Based on the theory and methodology of pedagogy and educational psychology, nursing education explains the theory, teaching process and research in nursing education. The module ensures that students will have the ability to teach and evaluate. The contents include pedagogic principles; basic theories of nursing education; nursing curriculum building; nursing teaching methods and skills; nursing education evaluation; and nursing educational research.

Relatório de Projecto

This module helps students to deeply explore the current situation of nursing practice and health care research. Students analyze the current research situation, identify the problems to be discussed, and then conduct extensive literature review to thoroughly understand the current situation and existing issues, and develop a research plan for the topics found. After ethical considerations, they conduct the data collection and analysis, and complete the project report.

This module focuses on the changes of functions and metabolism of diseases. It enables students to conduct a comprehensive and systematic analysis of etiology. The contents include the concepts and theories of advanced pathophysiology; case studies on specific diseases for in-depth understanding of etiology and pathogenesis, enhancing students’ clinical thinking and enhancing nursing quality through their clinical decision-making.

This module aims to equip students with more in-depth knowledge about clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics. The contents include classifications, indications, major adverse effects, potential drug-drug interactions and precautions of different medications; pharmacotherapeutic plans and clinical guidelines for common diseases; and monitoring of the effectiveness and safety of different medications.

Estágio Clínico e Relatório de Estágio2

In the clinical internship, students can describe the function and operation of the health care system and nursing activities; apply specialized nursing knowledge and skills to maintain the optimal health status of service objects or specific populations through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; provide Specialized nursing practice for individuals, families and communities in critical or critical situations; effectively provide health education and promotion activities for specific populations/special disease groups. Students perform at least one on-the-job training activity for nurses or other health professionals and participate in nursing quality monitoring and improvement.

Enfermagem de Cuidados Intensivos e de Urgência

This module describes the scope of the two major nursing specialties: Emergency Nursing and Critical Nursing. The contents include: epidemiology of accident prevention and injury; emergency care for adults and children; life-saving grief after trauma; physical examination of emergency patients; medical and surgical emergency care, and acute illness care at different stages of life; and basic and intensive care of critical care and its quality management, as well as clinical skills and interpretation of special conditions for ECG, arterial blood gas and X-ray chest radiographs and critical care.

Enfermagem de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia

This module strengthens students’ concept and practice of Gynecology and Obstetrics Nursing. The contents include:the principles and paradoxes of contemporary gynecology and obstetrics; the role and function of gynecology and obstetrics, and common gynecological diseases and gynecological tumors; nursing care for perinatal women and their families; high-risk pregnant women, women during childbirth and postpartum abnormalities and their families; and normal newborns, high-risk fetuses and high-risk newborns.

The contents include:the definition of community care, the role, function and practice of community nurses; community care considerations in economic, social and ethical areas; teamwork and decision making; community environment and characteristics, community connections and motivation, and demographic characteristics; and community needs, epidemiological characteristics and community assessment tools, and the strategies for promoting community/population health, community resources and services, and community intervention evaluations.

This module strengthens students’ concept and practice of infection control. The contents include: types of infectious diseases, routes of transmission; purpose of infection control, methods of infection control, standard preventive measures; risk assessment of infection; separation of medical waste, packaging and labeling, storage of medical waste, and collection of medical waste; and infection control , the strategies to prevent cross-infection, research status and development trends.
