               Programme Objectives
               The programme aims to (1) develop students' English and Chinese communication skills, which
               they will need to serve as effective and responsible intermediaries between the two languages;
               and  (2)  enhance  students'  awareness  of  their  prospective  roles  as  language  specialists  in
               government,  business  and  the  professions  in  multilingual  communities  of  Guangdong-Hong
               Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

               Graduate Prospects
               Graduates can be employed as professional translators in the public or private sectors, English
               teachers,  clerks  or  various  other  positions  in  Chinese  or  foreign  institutions  or  enterprises.
               Graduates  can  also  further  their  studies  in  the  Master  of  Arts  in  Chinese  Translation  and
               Interpreting  or  other  related  Master’s  Degree  Programs  at  the  University  of  Queensland
               (Australia),  or  in  the  universities  in  UK,  USA  and  Europe.  Students  in  Macao  can  study  the
