The inaugural ceremony of the Alliance took place at The Education University of Hong Kong. Associate Professor Lai Mei Kei, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, attended to witness the event and participate in the first academic conference. During the conference, two students from Master of Interdisciplinary Arts, Xie Jiarui and Chen Yili, showcased their research on emotionalised design in the digital age and the modern urban visual symbols of Macao.
