Wynn Management Skills Programme to Shape Future Leaders of the Industry


In a major step toward bolstering Macao’s global tourism status, MPU has partnered with Wynn Macau to introduce the Wynn Management Skills Programme. Designed to equip management staff with strategic insights and a global outlook, this initiative supports Macao’s vision of becoming a world-class tourism and leisure hub, enhancing its competitive edge in the international market.

Empowering Managers to Stay Ahead of Industry Trends

A total of 45 management staff successfully completed the two-year training programme and were awarded certificates at the graduation ceremony, with Professor Im Sio Kei, MPU Rector congratulating the graduates on their achievements. He highlighted that MPU’s bachelor’s and master’s programmes in business administration have been accredited by the UN Tourism (UNWTO), reflecting the University’s academic excellence in tourism and hospitality management. Linda Chen, President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Wynn Macau, emphasised that graduates of the programme have gained sharper business acumen and a broader market perspective. They have deepened their understanding of innovative technologies and the rapidly evolving business landscape, equipping them with valuable skills for career advancement.

The curriculum covers a range of industry-relevant topics, including regional industry development, digital finance trends, advanced technology applications in tourism, and integrated resort management models. The programme is designed to align with industry needs, enabling participants to develop expertise in global economic trends, financial policy impact, digital-physical economy integration, and data analytics. Through case studies and hands-on training, the trainees are able to enhance multi-sectoral management capabilities, corporate operational efficiency and risk management skills. This professional platform helps management staff stand out in a dynamic business environment, injecting fresh energy into Macao’s tourism and hospitality sector.
