Dr. Aurélia Maria da Silva Guerra Rodrigues de Almeida, Associate Professor of Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (since 2005), Invited Associate Professor (2010/2021) of Macao Polytechnic University (formerly Macao Polytechnic Institute) and Invited Professor of Lisbon University.

She has a PhD in Marketing and International Commerce from University of Extremadura (Spain); Master’s Degree in Management with specialization in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Polytechnic Institute of Guarda; Post-Graduation in Marketing from Algarve University; Advanced Studies Diploma (D.E.A) from University of Extremadura (Spain) and Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and International Commerce from Languages and Administration Higher Institute of Leiria.

She taught the subjects: Strategic Management of Public Institutions (Doctoral Degree); Methodology of Scientific Research, Leadership and Negotiation; Economics and International Relations (Master's Degree); Introduction to Marketing, Events Management, Public Relations, Research Project Applied in Tourism, Portuguese I e II, Science of Documentation, Research Methods in Social Science, Graduation Research Project I, Graduation Research Project II, Policy On Culture and Tourism, Selected Topics in Public Administration, Selected Topics in Social Science, International Organizations and International Relations, Internship, Commercial Negotiation, Marketing Research, Corporate Events and Congresses, Commercial Negotiation in Tourism B2B (Bachelor's Degree).

She has supervised several Master's dissertations and Doctoral Thesis, in Higher Education Institutions in Portugal and abroad, and has participated in several Master's public examinations juries.

She was coordinator of the Bachelor in Tourism and Hotel Management and Bachelor in Event Management (Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal) and Bachelor in Public Administration and in Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sino-Lusophone Trade Relations, Macao Polytechnic University (formerly Macao Polytechnic Institute).

She has participated in the creation and revision of several Bachelor's Degrees (Polytechnic Institute of Leiria) and in Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sino-Lusophone Trade Relations,  Macao Polytechnic University (formerly Macao Polytechnic Institute).

She was a member of the Scientific Council from the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology, a member of the Technical Scientific Council of the Macao Polytechnic University (formerly Macao Polytechnic Institute) and of the Pedagogical-Scientific Committee of the Superior School of Public Administration, of the Superior School of Applied Sciences and the Higher School of Human and Social Sciences, Macao Polytechnic University (formerly Macao Polytechnic Institute); was president of the Scientific-Pedagogical Commission of the degree in Tourism and Hotel Management and president of the Scientific-Pedagogical Commission of the degree in Events Management.

She was member of Experts Commission, named by His Excellency the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, to report about the recognition in Portugal of the bachelor and degree in Public Relations, lectured at Macao Polytechnic University (formerly Macao Polytechnic Institute), the report was approved, and the recognition granted by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education.

She has participated in the organization of several scientific and educational events, having also participated in several national and international conferences and seminars.

She is author and co-author of several scientific publications, author and co-author of books and coordinator of scientific-pedagogical publications, reviewer for several scientific journals.
