The examination result slip/diploma certificate is required to meet the following requirement(s) for the direct admission, and candidates have to submit the required documents onto the application platform within the application period:

 
Examinations / Diplomas Requirements
Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, HKDSE

Obtained the following results in HKDSE:

  • Level 3 or above in Chinese Language; and
  • Level 3 or above in English Language; and
  • Level 2 or above in Mathematics; and
  • "Attained" in Citizenship and Social Development; and
  • Level 2 or above in one elective subject
General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, GCE A Level
  • Obtained grade E or above in 3 Advanced Level subjects
International Baccalaureate Diploma, IB
  • Completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Curriculum and awarded the International Baccalaureate Diploma
General Scholastic Ability Test (Taiwan), GSAT
  • Obtained the results at "Average Standard" or above in 4 subjects which included Chinese language, English language and Mathematics
Advanced Subjects Test (Taiwan), AST
  • Obtained the results at "Average Standard" or above in 5 subjects which included Chinese language, English language and Mathematics
Unified Examination Certificate (Malaysia), UEC
  • Obtained grade C or above in 6 subjects in UEC
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia, STPM
  • Completion of STPM
Graduation Diploma of High School / Secondary School in Canada
  • Awarded the Graduation Diploma of High School / Secondary School in Canada (with grades of three academic years)
Scholastic Assessment Test, SAT
  • Completed the examination with score / grade results
American College Test, ACT
Exames Nacionais do Ensino Secundário (Portugal), ENES
Mathayom Suksa 6 and the Ordinary National Education Test (O-NET) (Thailand)
SMA Ujian Sekolah and SMA Ujian Nasional (Indonesia)
National Center Test for University Admissions (Japan)
College Scholastic Ability Test (South Korea), CSAT

Remarks: If the examination result is not yet announced before the direct admission application deadline, candidates are required to submit the examination permit and/or predicted grades during the application period. Meanwhile, the examination result must be uploaded to the MPU application platform upon release.
