展覽簡介：
本展覽以《開物：探勘》（The Journey of Experimenters）為題，展示澳門理工大學藝術及設計學院設計課程學生作品，為「實驗設計」及「前瞻技術應用」學科作品聯展，共展出十三組作品，參展學生共43位。
隨著近年創新科技在文化創意產業上的發展，為促進本地文化旅遊多元化，社會對科技旅遊的需求日漸增加。本展覽結合澳門理工大學設計教師團隊的研究以及教學實踐成果，推動學生探索在地社區生活，以感官民族誌實地調研的方式，對氹仔舊城區及澳門下環兩個社區進行實地考察，透過學生第一身感官經驗，觀察反思所處社區的人與事與物的認識，繼而轉化為設計構思，選取澳門文化歷史旅遊特色，開發出與別不同的設計項目，包括以線香形態重塑廟宇文化的回憶、從內港紋理啟發而設計出別具風味的朱古力、以手製中葡圖樣的編織為舊建築添上新裝、以街角雙面鏡裝置突顯中西共融的宗教面貌等。此外亦有結合當前創新科技的AR擴增實境的設計應用，探討澳門科技旅遊的可能性，透過集卡、三維模型展示、虛擬拍照等互動形式，介紹美食手信及旅遊資訊，開發別具心意的推廣模式，打造新一代的打卡遊玩方式。這些設計或許不盡完美，卻像初生之犢，冀願在觀念創新及科技應用上，為澳氹舊城區的設計帶來不一樣的體驗，為文化創意產業注入新動力。
"The Journey of Experimenters" is a joint exhibition which displays the students works from the modules "Experimental Design" and "Advanced Technology Application" of Design Programme at Macao Polytechnic University. Total 13 design works will be displayed which involved 43 students.
By taking the framework of Experiential Learning, these modules encourage the students to explore the local community through their direct experience and reflection in sensory ethnography approach. The students are required to go through many practical experiments to verify their ideas. Through this learning process, they increase their knowledge towards Macao local community and culture, also develop design and technology skills. It shows the teaching and research outcome from the Faculty of Arts and Design regarding the possibilities of designing multisensory experiences for cultural and creative industry with digital technology.
The students conducted their fieldworks at Taipa Old District and Mercado de s. Lourenco. Through their sensory experience in person, the students did observation and reflection on their understanding of the people, the things and the events happening in the community, then transform it into design ideas. The exhibited design works include taking the form of incense sticks to recall the cultural memories of local temple, designing unique flavor of chocolate which inspired by the texture of Inner Harbour area, making new decorations for the old buildings with handmade fabric design with Chinese and Portuguese patterns, and setting double-sided mirror installations on street corner to show the cultural integration in the religious from East to West. In addition, there are also some works which promote Macao tourism by combining Augmented Reality application with different design forms such as card collection, 3D model display, photogrammetry, etc. These design works might not be perfect, yet they show the experimental spirits from our new generation how they bring different perspectives to the cultural and creative industries in terms of conceptual innovation and technology application.
