Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts
Objectives
This programme aims to nurture high-calibre media arts professionals via a curriculum accentuating multidisciplinary learning across arts, design, and technology. Students will develop their communication skills, international vision, intercultural understanding, and innovative thinking while acquiring media arts knowledge and skills in the areas of game interaction, technological art, and video narrative. Students are given internship opportunities to keep in pace with the latest developments of the cultural and creative industries and respect the balance between commercial and cultural values of media arts. Through the blended learning on theory and practice, students are cultivated to bring innovation to society through media arts profession.

Graduates of this programme develop professional expertise in the field of media arts according to their discipline of study. Graduates will master core competencies such as game animation design, technology and art creation, and video program production. Employment opportunities include: media artist, animation designer, interactive exhibition designer, interactive media designer, 3D model maker, game designer and developer, visual effects artist, video producer, film artist, etc.
Further Education
Graduates may choose to further their studies at the relevant postgraduate programmes in MPU or other prestigious universities.
Bachelor's degree programme offered in Academic Year 2023/2024 will be officially launched upon publication in the Macao SAR Gazette
