The "2023 Greater Bay Area Brand Design Competition" hosted by the Macao International Brand Enterprises Commercial Association and co-organized by the Economic and Technological Development Bureau recently held an award ceremony. The competition attracted the participation of many tertiary institutions. After experts’ review, three teams of students from the Master programme of Interdisciplinary Arts of the Faculty of Arts and Design of Macao Polytechnic University won the gold medal, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Award and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Copywriting Award respectively. It demonstrated the teaching and research achievements of Macao Polytechnic University in arts and design, cultural creativity and business planning.

One of the winner students of Macao Polytechnic University said that this competition cooperated with local brands to showcase the team cooperation. He was grateful to Macao Polytechnic University, also the star mentors from the organizers and the local brands for their supervisions and helps. In the future, he would continue to explore Macao culture with brands design to promote Macao’s history and culture, and to contribute to the development of Macao’s cultural and creative industries.

Macao Polytechnic University Students Won the Intangible Cultural Heritage Copywriting Award in the 2023 Greater Bay Area Brand Design Competition
