The development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) technologies has been applied to help EFL learners practice their speaking skills. This presentation focuses on the use of Generative Al (GAI) in helping EFL learners practice speaking skills through the system EAP Talk (https://www.eaptalk.com).EAP Talk evaluates learners' speaking by providing feedback on pronunciation, fluency, grammar, and vocabulary. It also allows learners to practice voice conversations on various topics. The session will explore the effectiveness of EAP Talk for EFL learning, teaching, and research, and introduce other GAI tools, including those with multimodal features like generated audio and video. |
