PMPA6102 Greater Bay Area and Regional 3 45 hrs ---
Cooperation
Based on the systematic analysis of the Outline of the Development Plan of the
Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and in combination with the theory and
specific cases of regional cooperation, this course focuses on the following issues: First,
how to adhere to the guidance of innovation and constantly enhance scientific and
technological strength and industrial competitiveness; Second, How to strengthen the
hard connectivity of facilities and the soft connectivity of mechanisms, and gradually
improve the level of market integration. Third, how to deepen the cooperation in the field
of people's livelihood in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and comprehensively build
a high-quality living circle suitable for living and working; Fourth, how to promote the
construction of major cooperation platforms and further promote the integrated
development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, including Guangdong Macao in-
depth cooperation zone in Hengqin and Shenzhen Hong Kong modern service industry
cooperation zone in Qianhai, etc. It aims to enable students to deeply understand the
major development strategies of the country under the reform and opening up in the new
era, as well as the significance of the country's implementation of innovation driven
development and adherence to reform and opening up.
PMPA6103 Public Policy Seminar 3 45 hrs ---
This program will flexibly launch some seminars on public policies that need special
attention, and introduce the latest development and hot topics of public management,
such as social security and social welfare policies, education policies, housing policies,
industrial policies, health policies, international public policies, etc. The aim is to enable
students to master the hot topics and latest development of public management, improve
their ability to analyze public policies, combine theory with practice, and use public policy
theory to interpret and judge practical problems.
Management in Nonprofit
PMPA6104 3 45 hrs ---
Organizations
This course systematically studies the basic theories, basic laws and basic methods of non-
profit organizations' management activities. The content includes the basic concept, main
activity fields and functions of non-profit organizations, the organization operation
theory, performance management methods, development status of non-profit
organizations, in particular the NPO management in Macao. It aims to enable students to
understand the relevant knowledge of non-profit organization management, improve
their ability to analyze and solve problems, and improve their practical working ability
and comprehensive quality in the public sector and the third sector.
PMPA6105 Strategy and Crisis Management 3 45 hrs ---
This course covers politics, management, strategy, economics, sociology, military science,
international politics, international relations, national security, government decision-
making and management, enterprise operation and management, etc. The main contents
include explanation and discussion of sovereignty disputes, ethnic and religious conflicts,
trade protectionism and trade war, economic problems under China's new normal,
China's reunification, China's national security and national strategy, China-US normal
control, etc. The purpose is to enable students to understand the ideological schools of
strategy and crisis management, and improve their skills and abilities to strategically
think, assess the situation, and better choose strategies to achieve the anticipated
results.
