Public economics uses modern economic principles and methods to study how the public
sector engages in various economic activities. This course combines economics, public
finance, welfare economics and other contents by introducing the principles of relevant
economics, aiming to enable students to comprehensively and systematically master the
concept system and operation mechanism with public products as the core, understand
the optimal allocation of resources in the public sector, and coordinate the relationship
between the public sector and the private sector in the allocation process.
Remarks:
*In order to fulfill the graduation requirements, students must complete 30 credits, including 21 credits of
compulsory modules from Table I, 9 credits of electives modules from Table II.
