The new academic building being constructed on the Macao campus of Macao Polytechnic University has reached structural completion, with a ceremony held in August to mark this milestone. With its next stage being the interior decoration and installations, the building is expected to be in use in the second half of 2024.
MPU is dedicated to optimising its teaching and research facilities. The new building, consisting of fifteen floors, will house various research centres, laboratories, a new library, a theatre, lecture halls, classrooms, and offices, serving the three main functions of talent cultivation, technological innovation, and social services.
Upon completion, the building will contribute to an enhanced environment for teaching, learning and research, facilitating the development and internationalisation of the University in alignment with the “Belt and Road” initiative and Macao's economic diversification developments.
