According to the MPU graduate survey, students spent just a little more than a month to find their first jobs. The average starting salary of our graduates is MOP16,000. In addition, 80% of graduates are currently employed in a job related to their undergraduate degrees. Most graduates are now working in the (1) Health Care and Nursing, (2) Trade, Wholesale and Retail, (3) Education, and (4) Gambling and Entertainment.

Both the enrolment and the employment rate of our graduates have been very encouraging. In some programmes, all students have been successful in pursuing further education or landing on their first jobs upon graduation. Over 90% of tertiary institutions and employers have given positive ratings to our alumni.

While MPU's educational provision is widely recognised by international accreditation institutions, our links with universities and the industry have been particularly strong, creating excellent opportunities for MPU students to build their career networks. Our graduates are preferred by enterprises and government agencies. Recent surveys have indicated that a majority of MPU graduates are now pursuing careers relevant to their degrees.

Graduates who have chosen to further their studies have been accepted to many prestigious universities worldwide. Recent graduates have begun their postgraduate studies at:

The exchange programme to Portugal in my second year of studies has not just enhanced my language skills, but also taught me ways of dealing with others. Such experience has benefited me greatly, giving me a better idea of what I’d like to do in the future.
