Scholarships for outstanding freshmen
Local students are eligible for undergraduate scholarships that cover up to 100% of tuition, based on recommendations from principals, performance in admission exams or other abilities.

Admission for local talents and professionals
Macao residents applying to some of our undergraduate programmes are eligible for early admission. They will be exempted from taking written exams after passing an interview.

Bonus points and subject exemptions
Eligible Macao candidates who are high achievers in debating and sports may receive bonus points or be exempted for some undergraduate admission exams.

We are an applied, comprehensive and public university with substantial resources from the Macao SAR government. We offer comprehensive teaching facilities and one of the lowest tuitions among universities in Macao.
We are widely recognised by academic and professional organisations worldwide. Graduates of some of our programmes are eligible to apply for globally recognised professional qualifications.

Over 90% of our programmes now provide opportunities for students to study or conduct research at overseas institutions. Some allow students to study abroad for one or two academic years.
More than 200 organisations in Europe and Asia (including the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao) now offer placements for our students.
Many of our programmes are recognised by the Macao SAR government . Graduates of these programmes are eligible to apply for professional qualifications as teachers or practitioners of their respective fields in Macao.
Our students spent just a little more than a month on average before they land on their first jobs upon graduation. 80% of them now work in positions relevant to their MPI degrees.
