Based on the objective analysis of nursing work, this module aims to strengthen
students’ ability to apply basic theories and methods of management to assess, plan,
organize, implement and evaluate nursing practice, and effectively utilize human and
material resources to promote and guarantee the quality of nursing care. The contents
include:nursing management process; quality management system; patient safety and
risk management; concept and procedure of goal management; and management of
human and materials resources.

Based on the theory and methodology of pedagogy and educational psychology, nursing
education explains the theory, teaching process and research in nursing education. The
module ensures that students will have the ability to teach and evaluate. The contents
include:pedagogic principles; basic theories of nursing education; nursing curriculum
building; nursing teaching methods and skills; nursing education evaluation; and nursing
educational research.

This module aims to enable students to analyze relevant concepts and theories
and to clarify roles and responsibilities of advanced practice nurses. The

countries and regions around the world; roles and responsibilities of advanced
practice nurses; and clinical practice and related research in advanced nursing
practice.

This module focuses on how to organize the available information and conduct a review
of the literature. The contents include:how to choose the relevant engines and key
words, and find the required references through logical matching; how to critically read
and assess the research studies available in the literature, summarize their merits and
demerits, and point out the research gaps; how to write a professional literature review.
