本次講座邀請新媒體藝術家張瀚謙，分享如何透過沉浸式科技與藝術結合，將水墨、書法與大自然融入，展現東方美學魅力。張瀚謙將分享其在香港首個大型藝術穹頂「FUTURESCOPE」的創作歷程，從概念到實現的過程中，如何與國際藝術家合作以及策劃節目。學生將透過此次講座，深入了解創新、藝術與建築融合所帶來的全新觀眾體驗。
主講嘉賓張瀚謙曾榮獲2025第十九屆香港藝術發展獎「藝術家年獎」及德國新媒體藝術研究中心 ZKM「千兆赫茲獎」(2020)。其作品屢獲國際獎項及藝術節青睞，並曾於奧地利林茲電子藝術節；亦先後榮獲德國紅點設計獎、英國 Lumen Prize、亞洲最具影響力設計大獎，以及紐約藝術指導協會「青年先鋒獎」第 11 屆等多項國際獎項。
This seminar invites new media artist Chris Cheung Hon Him to share how he combines immersive technology and art, integrating ink painting, calligraphy, to blend with nature to showcase the beauty of Eastern aesthetics. Cheung will present the creative process behind Hong Kong’s first large-scale art dome, FUTURESCOPE—from concept to realization—exploring how he collaborated with international artists and curated the programme. Through this seminar, students will gain deeper insights into how the fusion of innovation, art, and architecture can create new audience experiences.
The guest speaker, Mr. Chris Cheung Hon Him, was awarded the Artist of the Year at the 19th Hong Kong Arts Development Awards in 2025, as well as the Giga-Hertz Award from ZKM, Germany, in 2020. His works have been frequently received international recognition and featured in art festivals, including Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria. He has also received numerous prestigious awards such as the Red Dot Design Award (Germany), the Lumen Prize (UK), the Most Influential Design Award (Asia), and the ADC Young Guns 11 (New York), among others.
