Arrangements for Classes and Examinations of Degree Programmes during Adverse Weather Conditions

These arrangements are applicable to the degree programmes and students of Macao Polytechnic University.

Tropical Cyclone Signal or Rainstorm Warning Signal
1) 
When Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 1 or No. 3/Yellow or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted or in force, all classes and examinations will be held as scheduled.
2) 
When Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force or cancelled under the following circumstances, all classes and examinations arrangements are as follows:

| Before classes and examinations start | All classes, examinations and outdoor teaching activities will be cancelled until the relevant signal is cancelled. |
| After classes and examinations start |
All classes and outdoor teaching activities* will be suspended immediately, while examinations will continue until the scheduled end time. *Relevant teachers and staff should take students to a safe place and make sure that it is safe for them to leave. |
| Arrangements of classes and examinations after the signal is cancelled | |
| Classes and examinations which start 2 hours after the cancellation of signal will be held as scheduled. All outdoor teaching activities on that day will be cancelled. | |

If classes or examinations have to be suspended due to special adverse weather conditions, an announcement will be issued.

Students who are participating in internships should follow the related arrangements and guidelines of their corresponding programmes.
