TRAN4130 Translation for the Media 2 30 hrs ---
This module aims to help students learn and master the features and techniques of media

translation. It focuses on the similarities and differences in language and translation of
Chinese and English news and other media materials through the presentation and
practice of typical media materials, to familiarize the students with the cross-cultural
factors in mass media communication, the impact of the specific requirements of
journalism on translation, and the translation and adaptation techniques of news reports,
features, commentaries, etc.

Remarks:
- Require to complete 1 subjects from the Elective Group A.
- Require to complete 2 subjects from the Elective Group B.
- Require to complete 2 subjects from the Elective Group C.
- Require to complete 1 subjects from the Elective Group D.
