                             Foreign Language
Teaching Chinese grammar to native speakers of Chinese is different from teaching it to

non-native speakers. This course is designed for teaching and acquisition of Chinese as a
second language. It explains the grammatical system of teaching Chinese as a second
language, analyzes Chinese morphemes, word categories and sentence parts from the
perspective of second language acquisition, discusses the principles and methods of
grammatical error analysis, and describes the various categories of error analysis. This
course helps native speakers of Chinese reflect their understanding and interpretation of
Chinese grammar and prepares them for teaching Chinese as a second language in the
                             future.
